InvoTech continues global expansion
“InvoTech continues its global business expansion with the Resorts World Sentosa UHF-RFID Uniform System installation,” said Jeff Welles, president of InvoTech Systems, Inc. “This Singapore complex is an example of how resorts with thousands of employees are adopting uniform tracking and delivery systems to eliminate losses, boost efficiency, and automate manual processes that increase profitability.” Resorts World Sentosa operates 4 separate uniform distribution locations.
Bulk reader creates real-time inventory, processes hundreds of uniforms per minute
“My staff worked closely with InvoTech’s team to install their new UHF-RFID Uniform System,” said an RWS spokesperson. “Our uniforms are a high-value asset. The InvoTech system reads uniform tags and creates an instant inventory so we always know the location and status of our uniforms. The bulk reading capability enables our large operation to process hundreds of uniforms in minutes with complete accuracy and automated reporting. The system makes our complex operation much more efficient. Staff get their uniforms more quickly so they can be more productive.”
UHF-RFID provides 100% accountability; installation includes training and customer support
“InvoTech installed reliable, easy to use UHF-RFID equipment that instantly scans and records all Resorts World Sentosa staff uniform transactions for real-time accounting,” said Welles. “We also interfaced our UHF-RFID equipment with the White Conveyor U-Pick-It Delivery System to automatically record which uniforms are loaded on the conveyors and when employees retrieve them. This saves staff time and establishes accountability.” InvoTech also provided wireless UHF-RFID handheld readers that simplify physical inventory and other previously-manual functions.
InvoTech provided approximately 200,000 waterproof UHF-RFID laundry tags which were applied to each of Resorts World Sentosa’s uniforms. InvoTech’s Training Team also instructed the property’s staff in system use. The large Resorts World Sentosa uniform operations department completed the fast and easy system installation in just a few weeks.
