Opened in 1986, the 316-room villa-style, full-service resort and spa destination features an impressive list of amenities. These include two 18-hole championship golf courses, one of which was designed by Jack Nicklaus, a 12,000 square foot spa, two fitness centers, five clay tennis courts, five swimming pools, three restaurants, a lounge and 23,500 square feet of meeting space. Overlooking the beach and with access to a private strip of sand via a beautiful bay boardwalk the resort is readily accessible to a variety of local, county, state and interstate highways.

According to EJ Schanfarber, President and CEO of Alliance Hospitality, the company will soon begin making strategic investments that will enhance the overall guest experience. “We will make the Wyndham Bay Point Resort name synonymous with everything that defines a fantastic resort and desired destination. We will build on the property’s history of success and are committed to taking what is now a great resort property and making it even better.”

As it relates to Alliance Hospitality’s future growth plans, Rolf Tweeten, Chairman of the Board for Alliance Hospitality said, “The addition of the Wyndham Bay Point Resort to Alliance Hospitality’s portfolio adds a new dimension to our company’s growth strategy. We will continue to work with owners and developers to manage high quality properties but we are also now opening the door to potential acquisitions and opportunities in the full-service, luxury class category. This will allow us to develop new relationships and continue to expand and diversify our portfolio.”
