Loews Boston Hotel names Stephen Nass Director of Sales & Marketing

Stephen Nass _sqJohn Maibach, the General Manager of Loews Boston Hotel, has announced the appointment of Stephen Nass as its new Director of Sales and Marketing.

In this role, Nass will be responsible for leading the sales team while overseeing marketing, revenue management and public relations for the hotel. Graduating from Johnson & Wales University, he received a Bachelor of Science specializing in both hospitality and finance.

Spending more than 20 years in the hospitality industry, Nass has held numerous key positions as a sales and marketing executive for several well-known hotel brands both domestically and internationally.  Most recently, Nass worked as area director of sales and marketing for the Twin Tier Hospitality Inc., (2009-2014), where he was responsible for the overall strategic direction and financial performance of the company’s rooms and food & beverage outlets. Prior to this, Nass worked for the Renaissance Providence Downtown Hotel, the Caribe Hilton Hotel, the Omni Richmond Hotel, and the Omni Shoreham Hotel. He also spent time at the Westin Boston Waterfront Hotel, where he was responsible for achievement of all budgeted rooms and food & beverage financials, marketing and sales strategies, growth in market share, and leveraging and strengthening business relationships with key city-wide customers and local and state officials.

Stephen has received numerous accolades including the 2012 RevPar Performance Hotel of the Year and 2011 Sales and Marketing Director of the Year, Twin Tier Hospitality, LLC. He is also an active member of both the Boston Business North Association and the Massachusetts Lodging Association.
