Giovanna Lever new Director of Marketing for InterContinental Sydney Double Bay

Giovanna_Lever_ Marketing and Communications700IHG (InterContinental Hotels Group) is pleased to announce the appointment of Giovanna Lever as Director of Marketing for the 140-room InterContinental Sydney Double Bay. Effective from May 26, 2014, Lever will lead the property’s commercial marketing and communications direction, growth and development.

With strong experience in this field, Lever joins IHG from Tourism Australia, bringing forward key marketing expertise, delivery in major and business events, as well as leading consumer tourism programs. Her experience in evolving global marketing strategies and business programs will also be invaluable when growing the new Sydney property.

Lever, who will join Frederic Brohez, General Manager of InterContinental Sydney Double Bay, said of her new role: “I am thrilled to join the team at InterContinental Sydney Double Bay – it is a privilege to become part of the IHG family and play an integral role in developing the reputation of what is set to be a pillar of Sydney’s hospitality industry.
