Are flexible check-in/check-out times the way of the future?

The Majestic Hotel in Kuala Lumpur has just announced an offer they're calling The Majestic 24 service. Casting aside the traditional hotel practice of a standard check-in and check-out time, guests there will now determine their own check-in time and check-out will be a full 24 hours later.

The Majestic 24 offer is open to all guests and valid from now until 30th September 2014. This service is applicable for stays on any day of the week and to all room packages, however some terms and conditions do apply.
