Berlin Hotels Beat London or Paris Hotels in Online Reputation

ReviewPro, the global leader in the management of the hotel sector's online reputation, has published a ranking of the 10 hotels in Berlin which have been the most highly valued by the users of more than 100 travel websites over the last 12 months. The classification has been possible thanks to the Global Review Index™, an algorithm developed by ReviewPro and calculated in this occasion for 369 Berlin hotels with 3 to 5 stars.

With an average of 521 commentaries per hotel, the classification is led by Regent Berlin, the luxury hotel in the centre of the city, which stands out for its excellent cleanliness and central location. The Hotel Adlon Kempiski, also a five-star hotel, is in second place, with 93.7%.

The technology developed by ReviewPro – which is employed by its thousands of clients in 70 countries – has also allowed the company to gather together the best and worst valued concepts of the city's hotels through semantic analysis techniques.

Modernity and comfort are the most valued assets in Berlin hotels, in contrast to noise and smell which were the most negative aspects.

In terms of quality, the three Berlin hotels which were most highly valued were Herbst Hotel, the Das Stue and the Hotel Alexander; and in terms of price, they were the Hotel Pension Fasanenhaus and the Adina Apartment Hotel Berlin Hauptbahnhof.

For RJ Friedlander, CEO and co-founder of ReviewPro, "the hotels which occupy leading positions in our Berlin ranking have understood the virtuous circle which favours a good management of online reputation: an establishment which exceeds its clients' expectations by knowing how to listen to and how to act on what is being said about them on the Internet will achieve a better online valuation, and in turn will attract more guests and will generate a larger income".

In the words of Friedlander, "this plurality highlights that Internet reputation has to be a transversal concern to the entire hotel sector: from boutique hotels to luxury establishments, including the more economical hotels. Both the fulfillment of their customers' expectations as well as their income depends equally on being able to measure and act upon what users say about them online."
