We know, we know: You're still upset that the holidays are over (we are too), but that doesn't mean all the winter fun has to stop. One of our favorite cold-weather activities can still be enjoyed for weeks-ice-skating, that is. And we've rounded up five hotels across the globe where you can still get your skate on, Christmas be damned. So strap on your blades and let's get twirling.

A very cosmopolitan rink with a view can be enjoyed at The Peninsula Chicago, where guests skate beneath the iconic John Hancock Building with postcard-perfect vistas of Michigan Avenue. And get this: 100 percent of the rink's proceeds benefit two local children's charities. The rink is open until March 3.

Do you prefer your ice skating with a side of Parisian charm? Then you're in luck, because the Hôtel Plaza Athénée is offering guests access to their chi-chi courtyard ice rink until January 31. The lush shrubs, the twinkling fairy lights, and the tucked-away location make this a great spot for a romantic winter getaway.

Skate with the cool kids at the The Standard, High Line, where this trendy ice rink comes with gorgeous Hudson River views, a month-long hockey tourament, and a snack bar that sells crêpes, Belgian waffles, cider, hot chocolate, and alcoholic drinks. While you're in the neighborhood, don't miss the nearby High Line park, Chelsea Market, and the hotel's own cool lobby shop.

Recently opened for Amsterdam Hotel Night, the rooftop rink at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Amsterdam Centraal Station boasts sweeping views of the Dutch capital. And no worries for those afraid of the cold: The deck is stocked with heat lamps, and the hotel's glass-enclosed SkyLounge serves wine, cocktails, and small plates. Open until February 28th.

Leave it to a hotel in Dubai-the home of indoor skiing and underwater hotels-to have a year-round ice skating rink in the middle of the desert. Located at the Hyatt Hotel's Galleria Residence apartment complex, this rink was the first in Dubai and is open to hotel guests and the public. We just hope they don't play the city's unofficial anthem on the loudspeaker.
