AccorHotels to grow loyalty point program for bookings at independent hotel parnters

AccorHotelsWith 4,100 hotels worldwide and two new hotels opening every three days, AccorHotels has a large global presence – but not everywhere. On some continents, in certain cities and in many neighbourhoods, the group has chosen to strengthen its offering by distributing hotels not belonging to one of its flagship brands (Sofitel, MGallery by Sofitel, Pullman, Novotel, Mercure, Ibis, Hotel F1).

For the past year, on the reservation site AccorHotels.com and on its app, customers can find new hotels from the “Accorhotels Selection” of partner hotels. So far, AccorHotels.com has recruited more than 1000 new independent establishments to meet the growing demand in several destinations in Europe (France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, England) and Asia (Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia , Malaysia, Taiwan). The company aims to continue to add thousands of additional independent addresses in the coming years in many more destinations.

For now, nearly half of these institutions have decided to participate in the “Le Club AccorHotels” programme. They are found on the reservation site with the symbol “Le Club AccorHotels Partner.” Members of the programme do not have access to all the benefits granted by their card (soft benefits or paying with points). But for every euro of reservation done on Accorhotels.com in these independent hotels, the customer earns 1.25 loyalty points they can use in a hotel from the Group.
