Chicago to get new corporate adventure campus

Corporate Adventure Campus Construction is underway for Chicago’s only experiential learning Corporate Adventure Campus located on the same property that boasts 150 acres of Audubon sanctuary grounds and over 40,000 square feet of newly renovated, IACC-certified conference facilities. Hilton Oak Brook Hills has joined forces with Corporate Learning Institute (CLI) to develop the new state-of-the-art Adventure Campus with leadership training and team building capabilities.

“The unique thing about this Adventure Campus is that it will include activities never before offered in the Chicago area,” commented Adventure Campus Manager Dr. Susan Cain of CLI.

The new Adventure Campus should serve as an epicenter for corporate and non-profit training. The courses include three challenge areas; a low teams challenge course where groups can work on skills like communication, problem solving and trust, a high ropes course that will engage individuals in pushing beyond fears in a playful and meaningful way, and a high element called the Pamper Pole, where managers and leaders can improve their ability to trust others and achieve mutual support. Hilton Oak Brook Hills’ multi-faceted event space and magnificent estate with sweeping trees will serve as the activity settings, while first rate adventure facilitators with years of experience will guide groups through learning sequences and assessments, from the classroom inside to the Adventure Campus outside.

“We are confident that this innovative new amenity will serve the expanding needs of our clients,” said Hilton Oak Brook Hills Director of Sales Nathan Karsten. “We now offer the ability to develop individuals, teams and professional leaders in a truly memorable and entertaining way.”
