The world’s finest boutique hotels have just a few short weeks before entries to this year’s Boutique Hotel Awards are closed on 30th May. The World Boutique Hotel Awards, now in their 6th year, are the first and only independent awards dedicated exclusively to luxury boutique hotels.
Hotels are selected from around the world and recognised as the best in each geographic region for one of several categories offered, including Beach or Coastal, City Explorer, Classic Elegance, Culinary Excellence, Honeymoon Hideaway, Inspired Design, Newcomer, Private Villas, Relaxation Retreat, Romantic, Wellness Spa, and Sustainability. Last year, nominated hotels came from over 70 countries, making the World Boutique Hotel Awards a truly international contest.
The culmination of this awards process is the annual World Boutique Hotels Awards gala, to be held on Wednesday 9th November 2016 at the Merchant Taylors’ Hall in London. Previous years’ ceremonies have brought together over 250 hoteliers and travel industry executives from around the world together with members of press from CNN, The Financial Times, Elite Traveler, The Luxury Channel, Monocle, Belgravia Magazine and more. Additionally, hotels and sponsors of the Awards have the opportunity to feature in ‘The Book of Boutique Hotels’ publication, with a readership of 100,000 high-net worth individuals.
“Last year saw a doubling of Boutique Hotel Award nominees, making the calibre of our winners truly extraordinary,” says Edward Gabbai, Founder and Director of the Awards. “With the launch of our international publication, together with the launch of the Master Key Society, the value of being recognised by our organisation has never been stronger.”
The Master Key Society has embarked on a new collaborative venture to create valuable relationships amongst the Winners by facilitating hotel exchange visits between them.
Nominations and entries must be submitted by 30th May 2016. The majority of nominations come from esteemed Nominations Committee members. In some cases, Nominee status may be granted to hotels nominated from elsewhere, subject to vetting and approval. To nominate a hotel, please go to: http://www.boutiquehotelawards.com/nominate/.
