Swissôtel Berlin migrates to Suitepads to cut printing costs

Sustainability is more than just a word to Swissôtel Berlin. Effective immediately, all 316 rooms in the hotel on Berlin’s Kurfürstendamm have been equipped with Suitepads for all guests to use. These devices digitally offer information that was previously available only on paper and needed to be reprinted regularly with each new update.

Suitepads Instead of calling down by phone for room service, a comfortable pillow from the pillow menu for the perfect sleep or to ask about jogging routes around the hotel, in just a few digital steps guests can now place all these orders or find information directly – everything they need for a comfortable stay on one single device.

The Suitepad also includes easy access to the TV programme, important local phone numbers and information on Berlin’s tourist attractions.

Only a few weeks after the devices were distributed, both guests and the General Manager of Swissôtel Berlin, Michael Möcking, are impressed: “Direct communication is now significantly easier for our guests, and even more important to us is that the Suitepads are sustainable.”
