Ritz-Carlton app services meeting planners’ needs in real-time

The Ritz-Carlton has launched a new mobile app to digitally assist meeting planners dubbed ((Chime)).

“The Ritz-Carlton is the leader in luxury meetings globally,” said David Murphy, Vice President, Food and Beverage Design and Development. “((Chime)) extends that leadership into digital and mobile, allowing meeting planners around the world to schedule services and request fulfillment prior to and during their events,” he continued.

((Chime)) allows meetings planners to communicate with their conference concierge using an online menu of options on their mobile device.  Meeting planners may make service requests, food and beverage changes, audio visual requests, in-room temperature changes, room set-up and scheduling alterations and many other options from a simple touch activated app available on wireless-connected or web-enabled mobile devices. There is also a text feature which allows meeting planners to give specific and unique instructions during a meeting. Once a request is made, the planner will receive a response from the conference concierge confirming receipt of the request and that service is in process.

As showcased in the ((Chime)) YouTube video below, the meeting planner takes just a few simple steps to request a new addition to their group meal menu for the next morning. The steps taken right on the guest’s mobile device allows for quick execution of requests.
