Steigenberger launches its third brand – Jaz in the City

Each Jaz in the City hotel will reflect a city’s unique lifestyle, drawing upon the local music and cultural scenes, bringing artists and their works into the hotel. Galleries and guestrooms will feature rotating art exhibits and public areas will be set to a soundtrack of local rhythms with impromptu pop-up performances by home-grown musicians.

The pretence-free lounge bars will provide opportunities for guests to clink drinks with the city’s citizens and the restaurants will feature flavours that combine global sensibilities with local specialities. Jaz in the City will give guests all the tools they need to immerse themselves in a destination, with savvy staff that are always ready to provide tips on cool clubs and exciting exhibitions.

Jaz in the City’s hip and happening hotels target sophisticated world explorers, weekend adventurers, foodies, and price-conscious business travellers and consultants who want to enhance their trips with localised leisure time. The first Jaz in the City is already under construction in Amsterdam, where it is scheduled to open in September of this year. With its diversity, vibrancy and variety of cultural activities, the Dutch metropolis is the ideal location for Jaz in the City’s initial property.

Fixtures and fittings in the hotel’s 247 rooms and 11 suites will combine trendsetting design with state-of-the-art technology, whilst the spa will provide a relaxing retreat for both the body and soul. Jaz Amsterdam will provide easy access to the Ziggo Dome, a concert hall that attracts world-renowned stars and stages major events. The Amsterdam ArenA, home stadium of Ajax, is only a short distance further, and Amsterdam city centre is just eight kilometres away.
