Cafes and restaurants represent the leading market segment at over 50 per cent of overall industry value. The food service industry in Central and Eastern Europe is estimated to total to US$48 billion with the growth to US$55 billion in value by 2015. While it is comparably smaller than its Western European counterpart, it has not yet reached its full capacity, presenting major future opportunities for every business involved in this sector.
