First speakers announced for The Hotel Show Dubai’s Vision Conference 2014

The Hotel Show Dubai 2014 has announced the first speakers for its 3 day educational Vision Conference Programme, where 70 international as well as regional pioneering industry experts will share knowledge, best practice and vision for the hospitality and leisure industries now and in the future.

The Vision Conference will focus on several key areas

  • shaping the future
  • sustainability from the ground up
  • a culture built for success
  • ensuring a successful business
  • emerging markets

Christine Davidson, Hotel Show Dubai Event Director, says: “This year’s Vision Conference presentations and panels will address future trends and emerging topics that will have an   affect on this industry as we head towards Dubai 2020.  We are confident these areas of focus will not only inspire the audience, but ensure they come away with a greater understanding of global hospitality industry trends, how to drive leisure demand as well as balancing guest satisfaction to meet sustainability requirements and government standards. The programme will also explore emerging markets, address destination marketing, tourism infrastructure and theme parks, plus the power of the exceptional dining experience to drive revenue.”

The Hotel Show Dubai will celebrate its 15th anniversary this year. From a pure exhibition, the event has grown into an all encompassing platform that incorporates professional education, high level networking, product launches, live debates, inspirational features and more global brands. It is the largest and most comprehensive business-to-business event for any professional who is involved in or interested in doing business with the hospitality industry in the Middle East and Africa.

Michel Jost, Executive Chef Yas Viceroy Abu Dhabi, who will be one of the key speakers at The Vision Conference, says:  “In a fast growing market like the UAE, attending The Hotel Dubai Show is not an option, it’s a given. The UAE is probably going to have the fastest growth ever seen in hospitality over the next 6-8 years.  For those in hospitality who consider they have only a limited time for networking and to really see what the competition is doing, The Hotel Show Dubai should not be missed.  Slowing down a few days may offer the reward of going faster in the future.”

Ms. Davidson concludes: “Over the past 15 years, The Hotel Show has attracted decision makers and buyers and has been the annual meeting place for sourcing and networking.  The Vision Conference in only its second year welcomes a truly influential line up of speakers for what is bound to be a lively and enlightening debate to give our audience real insights into regional and international trends, issues and success stories to support their three days of business building to better arm them for the future.”
