Book a hotel by the stadium if your team makes the Super Bowl

Forward Market Media, the company behind TeamTix, has a new addition to its reservation system gives fans in-perimeter access to MetLife Stadium during football's biggest weekend.

Select Hilton Meadowland hotel rooms and parking spots, all within walking distance from MetLife Stadium, will now be available to fans scrambling for bookings if their team should make the Super Bowl.

The NY/NJ TeamTix Marketplace, (nynj.teamtix.com), is an online reservation system that allows fans to reserve a once-in-a-lifetime experience if their NFL team makes it to the Big Game in New Jersey on February 2, 2014.

With hotel rooms in the area selling upward of $900 per night the week of professional football's biggest game, the NY/NJ TeamTix Marketplace is a much needed option for diehard fans – especially when nobody is certain their team has made it to the game yet.

Rooms at the Hilton Meadowlands will be available to reserve for a 3-night minimum on the Marketplace for a small reservation cost. If a fan's select team goes to the game, that fan gets the room at the face-value of $499 per night. Parking spots will also be available.

"With the Big Game only three weeks away, loyal football fans of the teams still in contention are increasingly seeking ways to get affordable access if their team makes it," said Rick Harmon, CEO, Forward Market Media. "We are excited to be working with the Hilton Meadowlands to make rooms right next door to MetLife Stadium available for fans to reserve and see this as a great addition to our robust family of markets. Our team is committed to the fan and this is yet another example of how the Forward Market model can deliver incredible value to those who want to experience once-in-a-lifetime opportunities."

Also available at nynj.teamtix.com is the option to reserve tickets to the Big Game, choice seats at sold-out Broadway shows, entrance to the hottest pre-game parties, in-perimeter parking and more – all contingent on that fan's team winning a conference title.

Hotel guests are now using the internet as their primary work and entertainment channel. Russell McQuillan, Business Development Director of Bitbuzz said: "Wi-Fi streaming has effectively replaced in-room TV as the way people spend their downtime in hotel rooms, BBC iPlayer, Netflix, YouTube and Sky Go now account for a very significant portion of our hotel traffic. We are delighted to provide Wi-Fi that caters for the ever-changing habits of guests throughout the Holiday Inn Express estate."

Bitbuzz ensures the Wi-Fi service is available at the hotel bed, as guests primarily like to sit in bed to watch content, and ensures that the hotel has a significant broadband capacity to deal with these new and evolving services.

Bitbuzz currently has in excess of 469 Wi-Fi hotspots and over 11,500 hotel bedrooms in its network in Ireland and the UK, with 1,514,540 registered users across the UK and Ireland.
