The Ritz-Carlton wants you to take the cake

In celebration of the hotelier’s heritage, 22 Ritz-Carlton pastry kitchens around the globe competed in a cake baking competition to come up with a signature Ritz-Carlton cake. The mission of Corporate Chef Rainer Zinngrebe was to take a few classical, yet commonly found ingredients to create a taste distinctly Ritz-Carlton. The eventual winner selected has a rich, dark chocolate flavor with bursts of orange throughout.

Now guests all over the world can taste and even take home the beautifully presented masterpiece, a gift and cake that attempts to carry with it the history of The Ritz-Carlton.
