Bobbie-Jane_1Independent Thai hospitality group Manathai Hotels & Resorts has opened a centralised sales office in Bangkok to coordinate global sales and marketing activities for the four unique boutique resorts that it operates in key beachfront destinations in Thailand.

The team is headed by experienced travel and hospitality professional Bobbie-Jane Skewes, who will steer and coordinate sales and marketing activities for Manathai Hotels & Resorts, which recently launched at World Travel Market in London.

Ms Skewes – an integral player in shaping leading international branded and independent upscale boutique hotels over a career spanning more than 15 years – is now instrumental in connecting travellers to authentic experiences at some of Thailand’s most beautiful and culturally rich destinations.

“Manathai is all about serving the needs of ‘new travellers’ – those who reject the clichéd and want individuality, choice and authenticity,” Ms Skewes said. “It’s a great privilege to be Group Director of Sales and Marketing at a company that understands a large number of individual travellers, couples and families want to experience Thailand in a more personalised and meaningful way at four resorts that encapsulate their surrounds and flavours, be that in Hua Hin, Koh Samui, Khao Lak or Phuket.”
