Hotel Jackson opens in Jackson Hole, Wyoming

Hotel JacksonHotel Jackson – the first luxury boutique property to be built in the Town of Jackson in over 15 years – has opened. Situated in the heart of Jackson Hole and located steps from shopping, dining and theater arts, the hotel opens on the cusp of Wyoming’s celebrated summer season and provides convenient access to the best that the town of Jackson Hole has to offer.

Guests of Hotel Jackson will have prime access to Grand Teton National Park and Yellowstone National Park, premier wildlife viewing and outdoor adventures; including white-water rafting, ziplining, hiking and fly fishing – along with winter sports such as skiing, snow biking and snowshoeing.

The boutique property offers best-in-class luxury accommodations coupled with a premier location in the heart of downtown Jackson Hole. Every detail is carefully designed to connect guests with the beauty of the area’s natural surroundings, including warm re-claimed barn wood, soft leather elements and hand-painted metal accents. Breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and downtown Jackson Hole are complemented by modern western décor, paying homage to the hotel’s heritage – dating back to the early 1900s when the original Hotel Jackson was one of the first five buildings that made up Jackson Hole.

Hotel-Jackson“We are thrilled to bring the first luxury boutique hotel to the Town of Jackson in over fifteen years,” said owner Jim Darwiche, a resident of Jackson for 37 years, with his wife Safaa and sons, Sadek and Dorian Darwiche, partners in the venture. “It is our hope that Hotel Jackson, with its wonderful dining options and meetings spaces, will be a place not just for travelers, but for locals to gather as well.”

The first LEED certified hotel in the Town of Jackson, Hotel Jackson offers 58 spacious guest rooms including six suites, with ample indoor and outdoor space. All guest rooms feature fireplaces, spa-inspired bathrooms, L’Occitane amenities and in room fireplaces.

Hotel Jackson’s flagship restaurant Figs is helmed by Executive Chef Christian Bustamante and features Mediterranean-inspired small plates and signature dishes created with local Wyoming ingredients, perfectly complimented by an extensive wine list and hand-crafted cocktails.  A warm, elegant space, Figs features a two-story wood-burning fireplace with an aspen leaf canopy floating overhead, and is the perfect launching point for the evening, or a place to land when returning back from a night on the town.

Outdoor dining will be offered at Smokin’ Iron in July 2015, the perfect spot to relax under the stars after a day of adventure with authentic barbecue and western-inspired dishes, a wide selection of beers on tap and hand crafted cocktails.  Hotel guests also enjoy access to the exclusive HJ Library, an intimate space for reading and relaxation, offering hand-crafted cocktails, wine, beer and small plates.
