Alissa Montbriand new VP Global Integrated Marketing Communications at Carlson Rezidor

Alissa MontbriandCarlson Rezidor Hotel Group has announced that Alissa Montbriand has been appointed as Vice President, Global Integrated Marketing Communications reporting to Roger Chacko, executive vice president and chief branding and marketing officer.

“We are pleased to welcome Alissa to Carlson Rezidor in this newly created role,” said Chacko. “Alissa brings deep experience and expertise in digital marketing, digital product development, and strategic business development.”

Montbriand will be responsible for the brand digital channels and Club Carlson, the group’s loyalty program. She will lead the creation and execution of strategic digital marketing programs that build consumer awareness and engagement, deliver an exceptional experience and drive loyalty for the Carlson Rezidor brands globally.

Montbriand joins Carlson Rezidor from Bloomin’ Brands, Inc., where she oversaw and integrated digital strategy across websites, apps, email, social, and in-restaurant technologies. Prior to that, she served as director, Global Social Media and Content Marketing at Staples, Inc., developing the roadmap for social media, content creation and governance across the company’s global digital properties, realizing a 300 percent increase in traffic to Staples.com editorial content. She has also held positions at PetSmart, Inc., and Best Buy Mobile. Montbriand holds an MBA from the University of Minnesota Carlson School of Management.
