UAE-based hospitality group, Flora Hospitality, has announced the promotion of Jikku John Mathew to Cluster Director of Operations. He will be in charge of Flora Grand Hotel and Flora Al Barsha Hotel, a new addition to Flora Hospitality collection of hotels and hotel apartments in Dubai.
Mr. Jikku John joined the group in 2006 as an Assistant Front Office Manager and gradually developed his career up to Rooms Division Manager. Prior to joining Flora Hospitality, he was associated with hotel groups such as The Oberoi Hotels and Resorts, The Park Hotels, and Hilton Hotels and Resorts. He has also developed his academic insights by successfully completing Masters in Hospitality Management from Cornell University after his graduation in hotel management.
In this position of Cluster Director of Operations, Mr. Jikku John will be officially leading the entire operation of Flora Grand and Flora Al Barsha Hotels, supported by the team of HODs who will be reporting to him for the whole operational and administrative affairs.
Mr. Jikku John has made significant contributions to Flora Hospitality Group, and this achievement is a testimony to the policy of the group management to provide opportunities for learning and development to its members who are diligent and loyal in their assignments.
