DusitD2 brand coming to Myanmar

Dusit Myanmar_1Dusit International has announced the signing of a hotel management agreement (HMA) for the first-ever dusitD2 project to be located in Myanmar.

Slated for a 2017 opening date, the dusitD2 Residence Yangon is ideally situated between the city centre and Yangon International Airport. The residence will offer 300 units, a specialty dining outlet, bar, business lounge and recreational facilities including a gym and swimming pool.

Designed around the concept to “feel calm Asian winds and enjoy heartfelt hospitality,” large windows on the ground floor give residents the feeling of indoor/outdoor living. The building’s architecture blends well into the surrounding landscape, whilst multi-storey vertical sky gardens continue the indoor/outdoor theme. The pool, bar and gym are positioned in the top storeys so that residents can take in breezy, scenic views over Yangon.

Dusit has entered into this HMA with real estate developer, Myanmar JP Asset Co. Ltd. The building has been designed by Iida Architect Studio in Japan and the construction management will be handled by Kokusai Land (Vietnam) Ltd.
