Mobile, data and proximity technology are just some of the hot topics for the executives gathering to hear the innovators pitch their products at EyeforTravel’s 2015 start-up and Innovaton awards.

2015 is shaping up to be a defining year for London’s booming start-up scene. The awards series is being held in association with London’s Traveltech Lab, an incubator launched to springboard some of Europe’s most disruptive travel tech start-ups. The initiative, which is supported by London & Partners, offers high-spec workspaces for up to 30 start-ups and opened in January 2015.

Booking.com, Accor, IHG, Facebook, Google, Ryanair and Thomas Cook are just some of the top brands who will be in attendance at the awards in 2015. According to Alex Bambridge, CEO, TourCMS “taking part in the innovation competition at TDS Europe should be on your list of key actions if you are an entrepreneur and want to pitch in front of leaders within the European travel industry”.

“Whether you are building a social platform or tapping untapped data, the start-up and innovation awards, give tech innovators an opportunity to have their product validated by the industry elite, while boosting brand visibility in the online travel space”, says John Gallagher, the Awards Director.

Nominees will present their offering to a judging panel made up of Clive Jacobs, CEO, TravelWeekly, Tim Hentschel, CEO, Hotelplanner, Charlie Woolnough, Independent Fund Director and Tim Gunstone, Founder at EyeforTravel before shortlisting two innovators to face the audience in the final battle for the title of 2015 travel start-up innovator.

Packed full of networking opportunities, EyeforTravel’s start-up & innovation awards are open to travel start-ups, tech innovators and entrepreneurs. With a mix of B2C and B2B players already on the shortlist, the 2015 awards series is set to pave the way for more disruption in the digital travel space.

EyeforTravel’s Start-up Awards & Innovation awards are open to all travel and technology companies which place innovation at their core. All entries must be received by 24 April 2015.
