Carlson Rezidor appoints Jolene Reid Director of Development for Canada

Carlson RezidorCarlson Rezidor Hotel Group has appointed Jolene Reid director of Development for Canada. Reid will be based in Halifax, Nova Scotia and will represent all Carlson Rezidor hotel brands. Reid will report to Phil Silberstein, executive vice president, Development, Americas, Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group.

“Jolene brings an extensive background in franchising to Carlson Rezidor and a proven track record in business development,” said Silberstein. “We have aggressive goals for growth in Canada and Jolene will be an asset in allowing us to achieve those goals.”

Reid will focus on the growth of Country Inns & Suites By Carlson in Canada, which is a key growth priority for the group in the Americas and will also work to identify opportunities for the Radisson RED brand.

Prior to joining Carlson Rezidor, Reid launched a successful chain of spa franchises in Canada, and also retained a Canadian master territory license for a global automotive services franchise. Reid was previously Director of Development for Travelodge Canada, where she focused on growing the brand in Quebec and the Maritime provinces. Jolene is a graduate of Mount Allison University in New Brunswick.
