
Kevin Carter, Managing Director of Airlie is pleased to announce the appointment of Courtney Roane as Director of Operations for the property.
Roane joins Airlie most recently from The Boar’s Head in Charlottesville, VA where she was the Director of Food and Beverage leading an award winning team for the past 5 years. She has an impressive hospitality background providing excellent guest service at hotels and resorts in Virginia and beyond including Inn at Virginia Tech and Skelton Conference Center, Old Edwards Inn and Spa and Wyndham Baltimore Hotel.
“We are thrilled to welcome Ms. Roane to the team and look forward to her leadership and excellent organizational skills to further guide the Airlie team to success in creating wonderful experiences for our guests, said Carter.
Roane brings a strong knowledge of wine and wine pairings, food preparation and menu development to her new position and will be integral in team member in highlighting the sustainable nature of the culinary program. In her new role she will oversee food and beverage, engineering, housekeeping as well as the front desk.
