Benchmark Hospitality International has named Julia Maldonado-Rodriguez director of human resources for Villas of Grand Cypress, located in Orlando, Florida. Rikki Boparai, managing director of Benchmark’s Personal Luxury collection of Florida, made the announcement.
“It is a pleasure to welcome Julia to our resort,” said Mr. Boparai. “She comes to her new role with vast experience in human resource management, and with intimate knowledge of the Orlando market. We look forward to her important leadership contributions.”
Julia Maldonado-Rodriguez was previously director of human resources for Reunion Resort & Club of Orlando. She has also held human resource positions for Caribe Royale of Orlando and Interstate Hotels & Resorts properties.
Ms. Maldonado-Rodriguez earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Human Resources from the University of Phoenix. She is a member of the Society of Human Resource Management and active in the Hotel Human Resources Association of Central Florida.
