Kathryn Hill has been named Director of Quality and Process Improvement at Ojai Valley Inn & Spa, California’s storied luxury resort in Ojai, Calif. In her role, Hill will be dedicated to perfecting the resort’s meticulous service standards to ensure quality, enhance the luxury guest experience and also to maintain its Five Diamond status and work to achieve a Forbes Five-Star ranking.

Hill is an award‐winning professional with more than 15 years of experience, most of which have been spent with luxury hotels. Keenly attuned to business and process, Hill will bring her innate talent to create and implement new standards for service and operations to further support the efforts of the resort’s staff, management and executive teams.
Hill was trained during her tenure at The Ritz-Carlton in Half Moon Bay, Calif. and The Ritz-Carlton, Ft. Lauderdale, FL. where she learned the pillars for legendary customer service, employee engagement and leadership development. Hill then joined The Ritz-Carlton, Performance Improvement Team as an Area Quality Analyst, with responsibility for creating/executing action plans aimed at improving employee, customer and owner engagement, generating revenue, maximizing profits and growing market share for 10 hotels in the Southeast/Caribbean Region. In this role, she was awarded Performance Improvement Team Member of the Year (2013).
Most recently, Hill was with Marriott International where she spent a year refining a corporate employee engagement and recognition platform for the company’s sales, revenue management and event management associates in the U.S., Europe, Asia Pacific and Middle East Africa.
Hill joins Ojai Valley Inn & Spa as it begins a series of new property renovations including a new luxury outdoor adult pool and new dining outlets.
