Ramada Resort Lumut in Malaysia to open in 2018

Wyndham Hotel Group continues its expansion in South East Asia with the signing of a franchise agreement for the unique four-star Ramada Resort Lumut in Malaysia. The RM455 million project which is owned and developed by Kinta Berkat SDN BHD, is due to open in 2018.

A forest and sea-themed resort, Ramada Resort Lumut lies next to a forest reserve with views of the Straits of Malacca. The mixed-use property will feature 170  guestrooms, 269 residential and serviced apartments, seven forest villas complete with plunge pools and a forest spa nestled under a spring pool.

A four-storey podium houses multi-functional rooms and a banquet hall catering to 350 people, all hidden behind a three-storey waterfall overlooking an infinity pool with views of the forest and the picturesque grounds. It offers an ideal setting for weddings and other special occasions.

The resort is located on the west coast of Malaysia between Kuala Lumpur and Penang and accessible via the international airport in Ipoh and soon to be completed West Coast Expressway. It is a short boat ride to beautiful Pangkor Island, known for its stunning beaches.
