Ms Laura Tan has been appointed as the General Manager of The Settlement Hotel Melaka.
Laura joined the property with well over 24 years of industry experience, having started off her career first in the Front Office Division before moving on to Sales and Operations.
In her present capacity, Ms Tan will have the sole responsibility of ensuring profitable returns of investment for the owner through strategic and aggressive sales programmes and at the same time manage the entire operations of the property so as to uphold the seamless and unique 5-star experience which is synonymous with this charming boutique hotel.
Ms Tan’s dynamic leadership skill and sharp business acumen is derived from her illustrious work portfolio in Malaysia notably with Merlin Management Corporation Sdn Bhd, Carcosa Seri Negara, The Datai Langkawi, Le Village, Hotel Sofitel Palm Resort & Golf Johor Baru, Bayu Beach Resort, Avillion Village Resort in Port Dickson and Berjaya Hill Resorts.
She was also the General Manager for Hotel Grand Continental Kuching and prior to joining The Settlement Hotel Melaka was the Hotel Manager for Pulai Springs Resort.
