Caroline Dyal named Vice President, Operations for Pivot Hotels & Resorts

Davidson Hotels & Resorts is delighted to announce the appointment of Caroline Dyal as vice president, operations for its lifestyle and luxury division, Pivot Hotels & Resorts.  Reporting directly to Pivot’s senior vice president, Albert Smith, Dyal will oversee and support all Pivot hotels, creating the cadence and drive behind the division’s service and operational excellence. Located in South Beach, she will provide Pivot Hotels & Resorts expanded operational bandwidth in market and support across the country to all of the division’s hotels.

With a career spent entirely in hospitality and spanning nearly twenty years, Dyal has held senior leadership roles in some of the most high profile and cutting edge lifestyle hospitality companies over the last decade including Viceroy Hotel Group, Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants, sbe and most recently, Commune Hotels & Resorts. After occupying the high profile posts of general manager of Canary Santa Barbara and Raleigh Miami Beach as well as hotel manager of SLS Hotel South Beach, she joined Commune as the general manager of the Hall South Beach and shepherded the team through the renovation and grand opening of Commune’s first east coast Joie de Vivre hotel. Possessing a combination of high-touch lifestyle operations expertise, service driven excellence and a deep knowledge of upscale bar and restaurant operations, Dyal brings a unique perspective and technical prowess to Pivot that will profoundly influence all guest touchpoints as well as the Company’s overall culture.
