Hospitality Management Company, Swiss-Belhotel International, has signed agreements to manage two more Egyptian properties as it continues to grow its portfolio and presence in the Middle East.

The move follows the company’s expansion in Egypt with its first hotel announced recently at Arabian Travel Market 2016 bringing the total number of Swiss-Belhotel International flagged hotels to three in the country.

The development at Katameya, the extension of New Cairo, with two distinct brands, Swiss-Belhotel and Suites Asmarat & Swiss-Belresidences Asmarat, will feature a 250-room four-star hotel as well as managed residences with 400 one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments. It is on the Cairo governorate’s eastern edge and is due to open in 2019.

The second development is at North Coast showcasing two brands once again, Swiss-Belresort Batter Sea & Swiss-Belresidences Batter Sea. It will be featuring 300 rooms and 1000 units of one, two and three bedroom apartments. It is also slated to open in 2019.
