Construction begins on HUMANITI MontrŽal

Cogir Real Estate, in partnership with the Fonds immobiliser de solidaritŽ FTQ, has officially broken ground on the HUMANITI MontrŽal project. At the same time, Cogir immobilier and theÊFonds de solidaritŽ FTQ announced that the hotel slated to be built as part of this project, HUMANITI H™tel MontrŽal, will be under the Autograph Collection Hotels banner, making it the first property under this brand, owned by the world’s largest hotel chain, Marriott, to appear in MontrŽal. HUMANTI Montreal AÊmixed-use project focusing on the human experience in a connected vertical village

Comprising a 200-room hotel, over 300 rental units, 150 condominiums, 60,000 square feet of office space and 15,000 square feet of commercial space, the project will occupy the entire block bordered by Viger, De Bleury, De La Gauchetire and Hermine Streets, complementing theÊQuartier international de MontrŽalÊand providing a spectacular view ofÊPlace Jean-Paul-Riopelle. The first Marriott Autograph Collection hotel in QuŽbec

A luxury, four-star boutique hotel, HUMANITI Hotel MontrŽal will have 193 rooms between the 10th and 18th floors. The hotel will also feature a 100-seat restaurant, a 60-80-seat lounge-bar, reception and meeting rooms with a capacity of 300 guests, a spa, a gym, an outdoor roof-top pool and access to the building’s indoor parking. ÊÊThe hotel will be managed by Urgo Hotels Canada, the Canadian subsidiary of Urgo Hotels and Resorts. Urgo Hotels Canada is renowned for its management quality and exceptional performance. The seven hotels it manages in QuŽbec are among the most successful in their respective markets. Urgo Hotels and Resort owns and/or manages a group of 45 hotels and resorts in the U.S. andÊCanada, including some 20 under the Marriott banner.
