BookLogic partners with Idealo to deliver targeted metasearch

BookLogic 300BookLogic has partnered with Idealo to expand exposure and sales reach for its hotel clients through hotel.idealo.de in Germany. The hotel revenue management technology company has developed a direct connection to the meta search engine for online price comparison, to help its hotel clients reach a wider market. Idealo will sell BookLogic’s customers’ available rooms while still processing the booking through the BookLogic booking engine.

BookLogic has been working with Idealo to develop targeted marketing initiatives into order to help its hotel clients become more independent in the booking process. Hotel idealo compares prices in a live search across thousands of websites and over one million listed accommodation to deliver rates for dates selected by the traveller; these include private vacation homes, hotels, apartments, cottages, bed and breakfasts and more. German travellers are able to search through a series of filters to define the criteria for their holiday accommodation, which will enhance visibility for hotels among targeted consumers.

Hotels subscribed to BookLogic’s technology and services will benefit from full integration with booking engines’ CRS. It will allow hotels to post room availability and rates to a wider network to increase bookings and overall RevPAR through its existing BookLogic system. BookLogic customers simply need to request to add the channel to its existing sales channels.
