Umapped and Sabre partner to offer experiential itinerary solution

UmappedUmapped , the experiential itinerary management platform, has announced their partnership with Sabre Corporation which includes a live integration with Sabre GDS and ClientBase.

After Umapped presented at the 2015 Sabre Appys competition, the two companies joined forces to address the problem of fragmented communication and static booking confirmations between travel suppliers and their customers. Using Umapped allows agents to aggregate trip details and content from multiple sources, providing their clients with one centralized place to find all of their plans, ensuring they have the latest updates. All bookings and changes made in Sabre are automatically updated in Umapped, delivering real-time alerts and notifications to travelers. The new initiative provides enhanced value to travelers and additional revenue opportunities for Sabre’s agency partners who can leverage the mobile-optimized platform to send relevant offers using their preferred inventory.

“We have always focused on finding technology partners that provide innovation and cutting-edge technology that help us exceed client expectations at every touch point,” explains Sherri Schwebach, director, Americas Technology Partners. “Our partnership with Umapped gives our customers a choice of utilizing an interactive itinerary solution that integrates within the Sabre Marketplace.”

Since completing the Sabre integration, Umapped has over 30 Sabre agencies taking advantage of the live connections. According to Stephanie Anevich, executive vice president of Vision Travel Solutions, “Umapped is the most advanced player in the industry. The live connections to the Sabre GDS and ClientBase have been critical to streamlining our workflow and keeping everything in sync. Our advisors and clients are thrilled, and it puts our brand front and center while enabling additional revenue opportunities.”
