By this summer, Media Box, a digital library of newspapers and magazines from Media Carrier GmbH, will be available in most Radisson Blu hotels in the Central Europe region.
Holger Herrmann, General Manager & District Director North-East Germany, said:“The ease of operation and the selection of international quality newspapers and magazines prompted us to go for the Media Carrier white-label solution. It is also in line with Radisson Blu’s active commitment to sustainability.”
The system was tested in the Radisson Blu Hotel, Hamburg Airport and the Radisson Blu Hotel, Hanover, where guests have had access to the e-paper platform since December last year.
“We chose the Media Box because we believe that it adds real value for our guests – particularly regulars. We also considered this in our selection of media. The Media Box fits perfectly to our free Wi-Fi service and also makes it possible for us to conveniently communicate information to our guests,” explained Ronnie Paetow, Director of Sales & Marketing at Radisson Blu Hotel, Hanover.
Guests response to the service was positive
At the same time, guests were asked for their opinion on the new service. The response was positive and the company is now planning to use Media Box in other countries in the Central Europe region.
“The Radisson Blu Media Box features a uniform design but the selection of newspapers and magazines varies from hotel to hotel, depending on the guest structure and individual requirements,” says Sandra Bardewyck, Key Account Manager at Media Carrier GmbH.
