JW Marriott Venice Resort & Spa’s private island available to rent

JW Marriott Venice Resort & Spa width=Êannounced the resort’s annual closure in November but meeting planners around the world now have the opportunity to request a buy-out for the island in the beginning of March, before the resort opens on March 16, and until of the end of November, following closure on November 4. The luxury resort located on its very own private island, Isola delle Rose, offers over 11,000 square feet of meeting and event space available for buyout.

said Enrique Tasende, general manager at JW Marriott Venice Resort & Spa.

“We invite business professionals to take advantage of our expansive meetings and events space upon request.”

Looking back on the year, the property hosted a number of notable events throughout the 2017 season. In celebration of the Venice Biennale, renowned art festival, the Italian coffee roasting company, Illy hosted their 25th anniversary in partnership with JW Marriott Venice Resort & Spa. The resort also held exclusive events in collaboration with Netflix, for the International Venice Film Festival as well as L’Oreal, CK Watches, Porsche, and Audi.

Reflective of its natural surrounding landscape, the meetings and events space includes expanded Venezia Ballroom in the conference centre, with availability to host up to 380 participants; nine meeting rooms; lush gardens for outdoor receptions; and a historical church for high culture meetings or refined gala dinners. For intimate and smaller open-air meetings or events, the resort offers private terraces and a century-old park with over 100 olive trees. The resort’s Michelin-starred chef Frederico Belluco is also available upon request to cater meetings and events. Furthermore, professionals utilizing the meetings and events space will have direct access to private docks and boats for carrying material in preparation for the event or transporting participants to and from the Venice city centre. Through the resort’s MICE special offer, rates for special events start at $246 (Û210) per night and are valid during March, April, October, and November.
