The Green Goddess is back on FŽlicitŽ Island

Angele-Maeght 650Six Senses Zil Pasyon has announced the first visiting expert at the recently opened resort in Seychelles. With her smile and charisma, Angle Maeght Ferreux is a chef of the moment in Paris and will be on the Island of FŽlicitŽ from February 13-18.

With diplomas in naturopathy, permaculture and her crown of flowers as a toque, Ms Maeght Ferreux is a force of nature: she writes cook books promoting a healthier diet, she owns a well-appointed Žpicerie named la Guinguette d’Angle which allows Parisians to enjoy her delicious organic, locally sourced and gluten free recipes, and she has a catering service for professionals including worldwide personalities.

ÒAngle came on the island a few weeks ago and fell in love, not only with the beauty of the Island, but also with the incredible variety of organic ingredients naturally grown on FŽlicitŽ,Ó said Edouard Grosmangin, the General Manager of Six Senses Zil Pasyon. ÒWe are now thrilled and excited to have her back to share her impressive knowledge with our guests and hosts. Angle”s unique signature is exactly what was needed in the organic and gluten-free trend: a magical and girly twist bringing flavors and good mood!Ó

During her stay on FŽlicitŽ, Ms Maeght Ferreux will be working alongside Executive Chef Richard Lee, Spa and Wellness Manager Gabriela Zoltakova, and Permaculturist Steve Hill to construct special workshops and dining experiences related to her skills. This will include daily workshops including discovering what is super food, how to use local resources from FŽlicitŽ Island in your recipes, how to make your own personalized granola, the ten commandments of healthy food habits, and raw vegan cooking class. But also for the children: how to make your own vegan cookies, walk through the giant organic garden of FŽlicitŽ to collect fresh fruits, make your own lollipops and make an edible Zorro’s mask.

One of the highlights of the week will be the Good Girl, Bad Boy dinner for the occasion of Valentine’s Day. On February 14, Chef Richard and Angle will serve their special menu to the couples staying at the resort based on signature dishes. They will then share two versions of the same dish: one based on healthy cuisine, the other based on the ÒI don’t careÓ idea, but both promise a mouth-watering experience.

Six Senses Zil Pasyon is located on the private island of FŽlicitŽ, the fifth largest island in Seychelles offering unsurpassed vistas of the ocean and surrounding islands. This 30-villa resort occupies one third of the total land and has been brilliantly designed to embrace the picturesque landscape of untouched beauty.
