Louvre Hotels Group announces the grand opening on October 4 of the Royal Tulip Achrafieh, a 5-star boutique hotel in the heart of the Lebanese capital. This fourth hotel in Beirut confirms the group’s Near East ambitions to serve a clientele made up of both tourists and business travelers.
The Royal Tulip Achrafieh is designed to meet the practical needs of today’s travelers with its contemporary design and cutting edge facilities. The hotel is strategically located at the heart of the Lebanese capital, just a few minutes from the business district and main leisure attractions, near the ABC shopping mall, the Hôtel-Dieu hospital and AUST University, making it the ideal destination for business travelers, vacationers and local visitors alike.
Every guest is invited to take advantage of the hotel’s leisure facilities such as the fitness centre, roof top and Hall Café, as well as its restaurants and their terraces. In step with the brand’s new positioning, presented last spring, the Royal Tulip Achrafieh was designed as a space that opens onto the city and is part of the city, meeting guest needs for a short stop, a one-night stay or longer visits.
During the opening ceremony, Pierre-Frédéric Roulot, CEO of the Group, welcomed Michael Pharaon, Lebanese Minister of Tourism and hundreds of notables, celebrities, journalists and artists.
Following the opening of the Golden Tulip in Istanbul in September and other hotels in 2016 in the Maghreb region, this new hotel with 76 rooms and suites bolsters the ambition of Louvre Hotels Group to strengthen its positions in the Near Orient and in North Africa.
