Radisson Suzhou set to open in China

Radisson SuzhouCarlson Rezidor has announced the signing of a management agreement for Radisson Suzhou in China with Suzhou Zheng He Investment Co., Ltd. Scheduled to open in the fourth quarter of 2017, the property brings Carlson Rezidor’s Asia Pacific pipeline to 87 hotels.

Suzhou is the second largest city of the Jiangsu province and is a major economic center and focal point of trade and commerce in the region. Radisson Suzhou is a 155-key hotel, strategically located in the Suzhou Science and Technology Town, also known as Suzhou New District. The district promotes sustained growth for new emerging industry clusters including high-technology innovation and new energy.

The hotel is served by two airports, namely Wuxi Shuofang Airport and Shanghai Hongqiao Airport, a 30 minute and 90-minute drive-away, respectively. Radisson Suzhou will feature an all-day-dining restaurant, a specialty Chinese restaurant and a lounge. Catering to a demanding MICE segment, the hotel’s meetings facilities will include four versatile function rooms indigenously designed to accommodate both private and corporate events. Other hotel highlights include a well-equipped fitness center and ample parking lots.
