Leonardo Hotels announces a further step along its course of expansion – from mid-May the Leonardo Hotels portfolio will see the addition of Prague as a new destination. By take-over the Fusion Hotel Prague the hospitality chain gains a hotel that is distinguished by its central location with Wenceslas Square just around the corner. The Fusion Hotel Prague, with 91 rooms, is the ideal starting point for exploring the ‘Golden City of a Hundred Towers’.
Daniel Roger, Managing Director Europe, is delighted with the new hotel: “Prague adds yet another attractive destination to our portfolio that we have had on our wish list for quite a while. We are convinced that this new destination will be very positively received by our guests.” The hotel will continue to be managed under its current name until the planned renovation work at the end of 2016. The hotel will then be rebranded and integrated into the brand world of Leonardo Hotels.
Václav Matoušek, CEO of the LORDSHIP group, which owns the property, adds: “It is a pleasure to us to participate in the first ever acquisition of Leonardo Hotels in the Czech Republic. We achieved a really long lease term I believe that Leonardo Hotels will thrive in our country and will continue its expansion here. I was happy to experience the professional touch of the hotelier personally a few times and have no doubt about their competence.”
