Days Inn Patong Beach Phuket, a 122-room hotel, is a franchise agreement with developer Roberts Phuket LLC, and is well poised to offer comfortable and affordable accommodation consistent with the expanding Days Inn brand.

Wyndham Hotel Group will be placing further emphasis on key emerging markets such as Thailand, in line with the larger global development strategy to increase its footprint across the region. Days Inn is a globally recognised hotel brand with nearly 1,800 economy to upper-midscale properties located throughout the globe. Most properties offer free Wi-Fi, complimentary DayBreak continental breakfast, meeting rooms, banquet facilities, copy and fax services, fitness centres and more.

Wyndham Hotel Group will once again be collaborating with KosMopolitan Hospitality, which has taken on the management of the hotel. This collaboration will continue with several new-builds and conversions expected to take place within the next couple of years, including Wyndham Legend Halong in Vietnam.

Barry Robinson, President and Managing Director of Wyndham Hotel Group South East Asia and Pacific Rim commented: “Phuket is a major beach resort in Thailand and attracts millions of visitors annually. This is a timely opportunity for us to expand our offerings, with the country hitting a ground-breaking record of 29.99 million tourist arrivals in 2015, which is a phenomenal increase of 20 percent from 2014.

“The KosMopolitan group is a key partner in our joint efforts to expand our portfolio of hotels in emerging markets throughout South East Asia.  Their team’s expertise in managing and developing successful hotels and resorts is proven and well-respected in South East Asia. We share similar goals and our interests are aligned.” said Mr Robinson.

The former Aloha Villa Phuket was rebranded to Days Inn Patong Beach after a facelift and has unveiled a refreshed and modern concept. Set in the heart of Phuket’s entertainment district, the economy hotel  consists of 36 double rooms, 80 twin rooms and six triple rooms, all comfortably furnished with mini bars and satellite televisions. The hotel also includes two restaurants, a rooftop pool and an Internet centre.

A six-minute walk to the lively Patong Beach, the laid-back hotel is 10km from the revered Wat Chalong temple and 13 km from the scenic Khao Rang hill look-out point.

Glenn de Souza, CEO of Kosmopolitan Hospitality added, “Days Inn is an esteemed brand with a wonderful concept that will appeal to budget conscious travellers with its great value. Wyndham Hotel Group’s Count On Me! service is one of its distinctive factors and we are confident of delivering the highest level of service excellence to our customers.”
