Moxy Hotels has opened its latest hotel in Munich, Germany. Moxy Munich Airport will offer the style and soul of a boutique hotel that is surprisingly affordable. The first Moxy Hotel opened in Milan, Italy in 2014.

Moxy’s brand essence is best captured in Now & Wow. Moxy’s fun, inclusive and young at heart spirit is reflected within the intermix of bold design and affordable style where communal engagement is at the center of the experience. The interiors will fuse refined and raw materials, organic and linear lines, and shared spaces. The Moxy experience will kick-off with a bright, airy and buzzing lobby. The contemporary lobby’s modern furniture invites guests to relax, pick up a book from the Moxy library, connect and catch up with friends or retreat to the gym to re-energise by punching the pink Moxy punching bag.
Moxy Munich’s living room is the center of activity, giving guests fun ways to work and play hard. Sealed concrete floors, walls lined with intriguing art and fun references to local culture including artistic beer jugs displayed on the walls are complemented by ambient lighting and comfortable accents of colour. The Living Room also features abundant power and USB outlets, and furiously fast and free Wi-Fi for ultimate connectivity. A high-energy yet cosy space for gatherings, special events or cocktails, the lounge plays host to eclectic upbeat music that sets just the right mood.
Located five minutes from Munich Airport’s main terminal the 252 contemporary guest rooms are outfitted with sound-reducing walls, 42″ LCD flat screen televisions, free Wi-Fi, comfortable bedding and deep-seated armchairs in calming, neutral fabrics. Every room makes a statement with a spirited floor to ceiling art piece. The design is functional and uncluttered with simple, thoughtful touches including glass shelving and open closets. Stylish bathrooms feature complimentary Muk toiletries, bright pink hair dryers, power showers and large mirrors alongside a spacious vanity area.
Moxy Munich’s 24/7 self-service concept gives guests access to what they want, whenever they want it. The Moxy dining area offers plentiful options for food and drink including fresh juices and a coffee bar. Guests can enjoy fresh panini sandwiches, local dishes including currywurst and speatzle and a range of healthy alternatives from sushi to a selection salads. Cocktails, craft beers and specialty wines will be served in the evening.
Moxy Munich’s nine flexible meeting rooms are individually designed with natural daylight. Choose The Club for serious boardroom style discussions, stylishly decorated with a round table, formal chairs, LCD screen and grey carpets. Moxy Munich Airport is one of five Moxy Hotels planned to open in Europe in 2016, with additional properties located in Berlin and Eschborn in Germany and Aberdeen and London Royal Docks in the U.K. Moreover, three new hotels are opening in the U.S. this year: Moxy Tempe, Arizona, opened March 4, 2016, Moxy New Orleans, Louisiana, in April 2016, and Moxy Nashville Downtown in October 2016.
