Vantage Hotels has increased Canadas Best Value Inn’s presence in the western half of the country with the addition of properties in Calgary, Alberta and Vernon, British Columbia.
Canadas Best Value Inn-Calgary Chinook Station is scheduled to officially convert from Howard Johnson Express later this month. The property has 48 rooms (several with kitchenette suites), offers free continental breakfast and Wi-Fi, and is pet friendly. Nearby attractions include the Chinook Centre mall, Calgary Zoo, Calgary Stampede Park, Scotiabank Saddledome, Mount Royal University and the University of Calgary.
Also a former Howard Johnson, the Canadas Best Value Inn & Suites in Vernon has 29 rooms, free continental breakfast and Wi-Fi, and is pet friendly. Amenities include a heated indoor pool, Jacuzzi, sauna and guest laundry facility, while all rooms have a 32-inch flat-panel TV and mini fridge. The property is located off Highway 97 at 32nd Street, and is near local attractions such as Vernon Museum and Archives, Okanagan Science Centre, and Davison Orchards Country Village.
