Steigenberger to open Hotel am Hauptbahnhof in Frankfurt

Steigenberger Hotel GroupThe Steigenberger Hotel Group is set to open its seventh hotel in Frankfurt. The Hotel am Hauptbahnhof” will be located right at the southern exit to Germany’s busiest main line railway station and close to the city centre of the country’s leading financial metropolis. Opening is scheduled for 2018.

The 400 rooms at the new hotel will offer exceptional comfort for both leisure and business visitors. There will also be a restaurant, a bar and six conference rooms.

Shopping centres, the historic Römerberg Square and the Frankfurt Trade Fair Centre will all be easily accessible to guests, either on foot or by public transport, whilst Frankfurt Airport is only ten minutes away by suburban railway.

It also boasts Germany’s largest airport and main line railway station. The hotel project forms part of an overall development, which also includes a public multi-storey car park and a new bus station for the city. The aim is to bring about further improvements in traffic flow.
