Residence Inn New York The Bronx at Metro Center Atrium celebrates opening

Residence Inn BronxResidence Inn recently hosted the ribbon cutting ceremony for its brand new upscale property, signaling the grand opening of the Residence Inn New York The Bronx at Metro Center Atrium. The 125-room hotel, which began hosting guests in May, is touted as the Bronx’s first upscale brand name hotel.

The entire staff of the extended stay hotel, located in Bronx, NY, was in attendance, along with President Rubin Diaz, Joseph Simone, President of Simone Development, Pat Simone, Founder of Simone Development, Principal Joseph Deglomini Sr., Principal Joseph Deglomni Jr., Joseph Kelleher, President of Simone Metro Properties, James Vacca, Bronx County Council Member and Clement Carey, the property’s General Manager.

The ceremony was a success, as the staff and managers officially opened the doors on the borough’s first major hotel near sights like Yankee Stadium, Fordham University, LaGuardia Airport, and Citi Field. The growing Hutchinson Metro Center is fast becoming a vibrant hub, inviting guests and travelers to explore everything the Bronx has to offer.
