Conrad_hotels_&_Resorts_1Conrad Hotels & Resorts has announced the signing of a management agreement with Horoy Real Estate for the 300-room Conrad Shenzhen, scheduled to open in December 2019. It will be located in the center of Shenzhen’s rapidly developing Qianhai CBD.

“Often referred to as China’s Silicon Valley, Shenzhen is a global epicenter for high-tech design and production, as well as the world’s largest manufacturer of electronics. The city is also one of the key financial centers in China,” said Francis Lee, senior vice president of development, Greater China and Mongolia, Hilton Worldwide. “Today’s announcement accentuates the important role the city plays in China’s broader economic reform, and we are proud to be supporting this growth. Combining Hilton’s global expertise and commercial engines with Horoy Real Estate’s local advantages, Conrad Shenzhen will complement its sister properties – Hilton Shenzhen Shekou Nanhai and Hilton Garden Inn Shenzhen Bao’An.”

Conrad Shenzhen is part of a comprehensive development project in the Horoy Qianhai Center. With expansive ocean views, the hotel will be located at the center of the Qianhai CBD, in close proximity to sophisticated office towers, commercial facilities and custom apartments. The property will offer 300 guest rooms and suites, as well as exquisite cuisines and refreshments that appeal to both local and international tastes. Boasting around 2,480 square meters of event space, including a 1,200 square meter ballroom, Conrad Shenzhen is well positioned as the perfect venue to host exclusive social events as well as executive functions including meetings and conferences.

“As one of the most prominent international hospitality companies in China today, Hilton Worldwide offers a solid foundation for a strong partnership,” said Lai Junlin, President, Horoy Real Estate. “Combining our local market insights with that of Hilton’s 95-year legacy of running successful hotels, we are confident that Conrad Shenzhen will raise the bar for inspired travel experiences and provide travelers to Shenzhen with a personalized and intuitive luxury experience.”
