Union Hanover Securities announces second hotel in Bocas del Toro, Panama

Union Hanover Securities, a London-based specialty real estate investment and development company with a hospitality focus, is pleased to announce its second hotel in Bocas del Toro, Panama–Mantra. Located on a captivating island property, Mantra will offer a plethora of high energy adventures in a tropical paradise that features waterfalls, rainforest and volcanic boulders. Miami-based independent hotel operator Boutique Hospitality Management has been contracted to manage the 48-suite property.

Slated for completion in 2017, the new boutique hotel will blend outdoor-indoor living. Guests will have the benefit of world-class modern comforts and amenities while enjoying the tropical rainforest that surrounds the property and everything it has to offer. The island’s nature trails, which are perfect for hiking and biking, feature incredible wildlife and various fruit trees such mango, banana, cacao, citrus and exotic indigenous fruit.

Transportation will be available for guests looking to experience off shore excursions such as dolphin watching in Dolphin Bay or go to Bocas Town to stroll the vibrant streets of the area’s focal point, which are lined with restaurants and shops. When not partaking in the many activities the area has to offer, guests can indulge in the tropical cuisine offered at Mantra’s restaurant, unwind at the property’s state-of-the-art fitness and spa center, or simply take in the Caribbean sun.
