DoubleTree by Hilton has announced the opening of its latest hotel in Amsterdam – DoubleTree by Hilton Amsterdam – NDSM Wharf located on the banks of IJ.
The new contemporary hotel offers 88 guest rooms, more than half of which offer water views across Amsterdam’s picturesque canals. It is located in the NDSM region, one of Amsterdam’s prime creative districts, marrying historic and contemporary architecture. Alongside modern guest rooms, visitors can take advantage of the the 24-hour gym or enjoy a meal in the Brooklyn restaurant.

The hotel is easily reachable by car, train or boat and offers convenient access to Schiphol Airport Amsterdam for international travellers. It is located next to NDSM, which was once home to the the largest shipbuilding company in the world. The former shipping wharf area is now a creative base for a number of arists, exhibitions, festivals, creative enterprises and businesses.

Guests at DoubleTree by Hilton Amsterdam – NDSM Wharf can savour Dutch and international dishes at the onsite Brooklyn restaurant. Brooklyn caters for up to 100 guests, offering upscale all day dining, and providing an ideal place for a business lunch or a relaxed family dinner. Guests can also unwind at the bar after a long day, sipping classic cocktails from the extensive menu.
Following the recent opening of DoubleTree by Hilton Nottingham Gateway in March, the opening of DoubleTree by Hilton Amsterdam – NDSM Wharf expands the brand’s growing portfolio in Europe. In Amsterdam, the hotel will join DoubleTree by Hilton Amsterdam Centraal Station, which has been welcoming guests since 2011.
