The Frankfurt-based Steigenberger Hotel Group will soon be entering the Turkish market in the shape of the Steigenberger Hotel Istanbul Airport, which is being developed near to Ataturk International Airport, one of the world’s major aviation hubs.
The Steigenberger Hotel Istanbul Airport will be located on the European side of the city and is scheduled for completion in June 2016. It will offer 210 rooms and suites. The hotel’s conferencing facilities will feature a ballroom extending over an area of 883 m2 and further space of 164 m2 to accommodate several meeting rooms. A 1200 m2 proportioned gym and spa facility with swimming pool, beauty and massage treatment rooms, hamam and Finnish sauna will provide the ideal place to relax.
As befitting its status as a five star property, the hotel will also offer two restaurants and a lounge. It will also be located only six kilometres from Ataturk International Airport, a highly significant transport hub.
