Fairmont Jakarta now open in the heart of the capital city

Fairmont Jakarta, part of the Fairmont Hotels & Resorts collection, opened its doors today in the heart of Indonesia’s capital city.

“After many months of detailed preparation, we are pleased to open our doors to guests today,” said Carlos Monterde, general manager, Fairmont Jakarta. “The Fairmont Jakarta experience is unlike any other in the city thanks to our thoughtfully designed guestrooms, remarkable views and wide array of innovative dining options. We look forward to showcasing the very best that this luxury hotel and Jakarta has to offer to visitors and locals alike.”

With unrivalled views of the Jakarta skyline, the stunning property is located in the center of Senayan Square, a ‘one-stop’ complex in Jakarta’s Central Business District that combines high-end shopping, entertainment, offices and apartments. The hotel neighbors and provides direct access to Sentral Senayan Office Towers, the 18-hole Senayan National Golf Club, Gelora Bung Karno sports arena and the Jakarta Convention Centre.

Fairmont Jakarta is the flagship hospitality brand in the prestigious development by Senayan Trikarya Sempana, a subsidiary of Kajima Overseas Asia. Its shopping hub, Plaza Senayan, attracts over a million visitors per month.

For meetings and events, the hotel offers a total of 3,500 square meters of function space with the latest in modern technology, including a prestigious 1,200 square meter ballroom.

The new urban hotel features 380 guestrooms including Fairmont Gold accommodation, the brand’s exclusive ‘hotel within a hotel’ concept, and 108 Sky Suites, offering guests the best of both worlds: suite-style living in a five-star hotel with the comfort of home.

Remarkably spacious guestrooms feature plush bedding with elegant Japanese spa-inspired bathrooms and state-of-the-art in-room technology, complete with premium amenities for both business and leisure travelers.

Five restaurants and lounges have been designed to create memorable destination experiences in their own right. Each aims to excite local and global gourmands by celebrating the distinct culinary culture from across Indonesia and around the globe.

The contemporary all-day-dining venue Spectrum, with its theatrical ‘live’ kitchens and menus celebrating world cuisine, is a great option for breakfast, lunch or dinner. The sophisticated Peacock Lounge serves light bites, tea and coffee throughout the day, including the celebrated Fairmont Afternoon Tea experience. With a professional barista and gourmet breads and treats, Sapori Deli will artfully combine casual meals to eat-in or take-out.

Guaranteed to generate some buzz when they debut later in the year are K22 Bar, View restaurant and Mont Bar. K22 Bar will specialize in ‘creative cocktails’ with house-made infusions of juices and fruits combining earthy spices and savory herbs. Not to be outdone, the stylish View restaurant will serve guests inspired flavors, nestled in an exquisite space with soaring windows that frame dramatic views of the city skyline. Rounding out the trifecta will be trendy Mont Bar, serving fine wines, champagnes, premium spirits and rare malt whisky.

The hotel’s gym provides the latest in fitness equipment, while a fourth floor outdoor swimming pool serves as an oasis from the bustling city below. For spa lovers, Fairmont’s signature spa brand Willow Stream will open soon, featuring nine fully equipped treatment rooms in a 900 square meter oasis of calm.

Fairmont continues to expand globally and in Asia. Fairmont Sanur Beach Bali recently marked the brand’s debut in Indonesia, Fairmont Jakarta now establishes the brand in the capital and Fairmont Bali is scheduled to open next year.
